'SOME OF THE MOST DANGEROUS DRIVING' POLICE OFFICER HAS EVER SEEN
Jerry Berry
A PROLIFIC criminal who carried out a 'campaign of burglary' was eventually captured when police roadblocks were set up around a city centre.
Jerry Berry had been wanted for several weeks by police on recall to prison.
He was eventually spotted in a stolen car by officers, and led police on a high-speed pursuit into Bangor. After fleeing from the vehicle, roads across the city were blocked off while officers searched all vehicles entering and leaving the area.
He was captured by officers hours later, and was jailed at Mold Crown Court.
At the court hearing, it was heard that a police officer said Berry's driving was 'some of the most dangerous driving I have ever witnessed.
Berry, of no fixed abode, appeared by video link from prison. He admitted burgling five residential properties, burgling a nonresidential property, dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified and remaining unlawfully at large after recall to prison.
