Live hand-grenade found in sugar-cane plantation

A live hand-grenade was safely secured by the SAPS Explosives Unit after being discovered by farm workers at a sugar cane plantation in Blackburn, near Verulam yesterday morning.
The explosive, with its pin still intact, was spotted by a tractor driver while loading sugar cane into a trailer.
