Sleepless Slot can't get French giants out of his head

ARNE SLOT admitted Paris Saint-Germain's performance against Liverpool left him with some sleepless nights as he stayed up late to watch the game back.

So there's been little time for dreaming.

That means the Reds boss has not been fantasising while he snoozes about what a special week this could turn out to be for his side. Liverpool take on the Ligue 1 giants in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie at Anfield with a 1-0 lead.

Tonight's blockbuster battle comes just a few days before they face Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley on Sunday. With a 15-point lead at the top of the Premier League and title No.20 on the way to Anfield, this is already a remarkable debut campaign for the Dutchman in England.

This week could take it to a whole new level with a first trophy by mid-March and knocking out one of the best teams on the continent - which will only shorten the odds of the Merseysiders winning a seventh European Cup.
