U-16s may face social media block if firms fail to protect
BANNING social media for under16s is on the table if tech companies do not take action to protect children, a senior minister says.
Technology Secretary Peter Kyle yesterday told Ofcom to get tougher with firms ahead of new powers in the Online Safety Act taking effect next year.
