School-time social media curfew plan

PUPILS will be unable to access social media at school under plans now being considered.

Technology Secretary Peter Kyle is looking for ways of stopping young people wasting hours scrolling through content on the internet.

The Mirror understands these could include a social media curfew or limiting access to the internet during school hours.

Mr Kyle has said: "I'm looking at all measures that would contribute towards a positive, supportive environment online."
