Singer's album release delayed as fans blame Swift chart clash

ROBBIE Williams' next album BRITPOP is being delayed until next year - which fans believe is to avoid a chart battle with Taylor Swift.

The release date for the 51-year-old singer's first studio album of original songs in almost a decade had been on October 10.

An update yesterday confirmed this has been pushed back until February 6 due to “scheduling issues”.

Swift's latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, is out on October 3.
