'Own up over Covid fraud now, or face being jailed'

COMPANIES and individuals who wrongly claimed Covid-era cash are being urged to cough up, or face the consequences.
The Treasury's counter-fraud commissioner Tom Hayhoe will today launch a voluntary repayment scheme - but warned the “no questions asked” window ends in December.
He said: “This offer won't be around forever. New investigatory powers are coming and businesses could be shut down.
