Hetherington outlines big plans for Broncos - and to boost the sport in South

GARY HETHERINGTON doesn't have a “secret stash of cash” to make London Broncos work - but reckons he can quickly turn them into a Super League force.

The Leeds Rhinos chief executive - who departs his Headingley role at the end of the season after nearly 30 years in charge - yesterday presented his blueprint for transforming the sport in the capital.

Hetherington, who joins the board of the Championship club, outlined a five-year plan as part of a new vision for rugby league in London and the South-East.
