Every one of us must be ready for battle

AT last politicians and military experts have come out and said what has been talked about in the corridors of power and highlighted in news reports for the past few years.

Britain is preparing for conflict and there is every chance the UK and its allies will be forced into a war not of our making but one in which we have to fight.

In many ways Britain is covertly at war with Russia.

Cyber attacks, the Salisbury novichok poisonings, a Russian-ordered arson strike on a London warehouse full of supplies for Ukraine.

But the appalling, overt violence meted out on Ukraine daily could arrive on our doorstep.

CONFLICT
