First, Jude Bellingham and now the England crowd. It was the timing as much as anything which caused more than a few raised eyebrows.

England had just beaten Wales 3-0, with further vindication of Tuchel’s decision to put the team before the big names.

And then... he calls it on with the fans, accusing them of being “silent,” claiming it is “sad” they were not as loud as Wales’ red wall - and suggesting the team did not get “any energy back” from the Wembley crowd. It was a big call.
