The Under-19 Sri Lanka girls cricket team beat their Australia counterparts in the fourth T20 match at the Dambulla International Stadium yesterday to take a 4-0 lead in the five-match series.
The match got off to a late start due to a wet outfield and play was confined to nine overs a side.
Sri Lanka taking first lease of the wicket helped by an opening wicket stand of 36 between inform batter Sanjana Kavindi and Vimoksha Balasuriya enabled them to make a score of 83 for 6 in their allotted overs.
