BANGLADESH SEALED the top spot in Group B of the Under-19 Asia Cup, after defeating Sri Lanka by 39 runs in the final group match played at Dubai yesterday.

Bangladesh's win was built on the back of handy contributions from their top order — Zawad Abrar (49 off 36 balls, 4 fours, 4 sixes) and Rifat Beg (36) put up an 84-run opening stand, before Captain Azizul Hakim (29) and Kalam Siddiki (32) added 53 for the third wicket.
