Nearly a million asylum seekers received freebies on the NHS

ALMOST one million asylum seekers have been receiving freebies on the NHS, shocking figures have revealed.
Migrants were given 920,199 HC2 certificates — around 59% of those issued — in the past five years, according to a Freedom of Information request.
This entitles them to freebies such as free prescriptions, dental care, eye tests and discounts on glasses.
Every migrant eligible for section 95 support — which means they can claim housing and financial assistance — is automatically given a HC2 certificate.
