'Judges are stretching the criteria for benefits'

POLITICIANS must take back control of welfare policy from judges, a think tank says.
The Policy Exchange claims benefits tribunals have extended eligibility criteria - and just one change to Personal Independent Payments would save £750million.
In a report, it calls for people who cannot plan and follow journeys due to some mental health conditions to lose the mobility element of PIP, the main disability grant.
