Jack's dream shattered by an Italian job

JACK PINNINGTON JONES said he had lived the dream after falling to a 6-1 7-6 6-2 defeat against Flavio Cobolli in the second round.
The exciting Italian had far too much power and style for Pinnington Jones.
But the 22-year-old Briton still had the time of his life at SW19.
He said: “To play my first Wimbledon main draw here and get a win as well...if you had told me at the start of the week that would have happened I would have signed for it.
“I felt like a little kid out there living a dream, so it’s pretty cool.”
Pinnington Jones only turned professional a month ago — after two years at university in the United States — and now hopes the Wimbledon experience can kickstart his career.
