'Horrifying' sewage spill lasted all year

THE longest sewage spill from 2024 went on for the whole year, analysis has revealed.
South West Water was responsible for the discharge from an outlet into Salcombe Regis stream, Devon.
The Liberal Democrat analysis of Environment Agency data suggested this was a huge increase on 2023 when sewage was pumped from the same site for the equivalent of 201 days.
