THE Prince of Wales was in high spirits yesterday, enjoying shots of gin and pints of cider with the Duchess of Edinburgh at the Royal Cornwall Show.

William and Sophie enjoyed a booze-fuelled visit to the event in Wadebridge, which celebrates Cornish agriculture, food and drink.

In a rare joint engagement, William teased his aunt about her alcohol intake. Inside the bustling food and drink tent, the royal pair sampled some local chutneys before moving out to try some shots of gin.
