DON'T MAKE YOUR BED STRAIGHT AWAY
Daily Express
|March 11, 2025
Making your bed first thing in the morning could be harming your health, say experts, as it could be creating a breeding ground for harmful bacteria and dust mites.
-
According to design specialists at Furniture In Fashion, the way we maintain our bed impacts hygiene and air quality with studies revealing an unmade bed allows moisture to escape, reducing the ideal conditions for allergens and microscopic pests to thrive. The average person sheds 1.5g of skin a day - much of which ends up in your bed, enough to feed up to one million dust mites, the tiny creatures that thrive in warm, humid conditions.
