AMAD DIALLO has escaped a fine from Manchester United after making an obscene gesture to supporters during the club’s post-season tour.

- By Jeremy Cross

The Ivory Coast winger was filmed putting his middle finger up to people outside the team hotel in Kuala Lumpur, with footage going viral on social media.

Amad has been reminded of his responsibilities but also told he has United’s full backing.

The club say his gesture was in reply to “serious personal abuse” about his mother.

Amad said: “I have respect for people but not for the one who insults my mum.
