CAMBRIDGE South Hockey Club's mixed team exited the England Hockey Mixed Championships at the first hurdle as Saffron Walden proved the sharper team in front of goal.

South struggled to make an impact on their visitors and had to rely on goalkeeper Ben Lye to keep the score just about in check, for which he received the player-of-the-match award.
