CAMBRIDGE United head coach Neil Harris believes that new signing Ben Hughes has “huge capacity to grow and improve”.

- By STEPHEN PAGE

The U’s confirmed their second addition of the summer at the back end of last week, with the 21-year-old goalkeeper having joined United on a two-year deal.

Hughes has signed for United following a spell with Championship outfit Swansea City, who he joined at the age of 17. The stopper started out at his local side Pontardawe Town Youth, before signing for Chippenham Town. He then made the switch to the Swans, with the goalkeeper having featured for their under-18 and U21 sides over the past few seasons.
