Cycle thief jailed after breaking bike rack ban
Cambridge News
|April 19, 2025
A BICYCLE thief banned from bike racks in Cambridge has been jailed after trying to steal more bikes.
Burak Iscioglu, 39, will spend more than four years behind bars after he breached a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) six times.
Iscioglu, of Bethnal Green, East London, was given the order in January 2024. It prohibited him from entering any bicycle storage area or cycle rack anywhere within England or Wales and/or possessing a bicycle, bicycle part or bicycle accessory without the owners' consent.
It also banned him from possessing wire cutters, bolt cutters, angle grinders, hammers, pliers, spanners, Allen keys, or screwdrivers in any public place.
