Indian MSME drugmakers likely to focus on Brazil as next growth market

Supported by India’s Pharmexcil and organised by Amoveri Farma, the India-Brazil Healthcare Business Gateway convened Indian drugmakers, Brazilian executives, and ANVISA officials to discuss market access, regulatory pathways and technology collaboration. Amoveri Farma is a Brazil-based pharmaceutical distribution and market-access firm.

The summit’s timing was significant. India’s pharmaceutical exports to Brazil rose more than 17 per cent year-on-year in the April-January period of FY26 to $740 million.
