Meralco warns vs meter tampering

THE Manila Electric Company (Meralco) has filed a criminal complaint against individuals allegedly involved in the unauthorized removal of an electric meter.
“We would like to emphasize once again that electric meters are property of Meralco and any unauthorized removal or damage is illegal and subject to legal action,” said Meralco spokesperson Joe Zaldarriaga said.
