GSIS’s investments pay off as income up 6.4%

THE Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) posted a total income of P344.47 billion in 2025, driven by its insurance revenues and investment returns.
TheGSIS announcedlast Tuesday its income rose by 6.4 percent from P323.75 billion in 2024.
According to the state-run pension fund manager, the bulk of revenues came from social insurance income, whichamounted to P212.17 billion, followed by higher total premium income from general insurance worth P11.39 billion.
Meanwhile, investment income from financialassets reached P76.55 billion, “strengthening the fund’s capacity to meet long-term pension obligations,” the GSIS noted.
