Vans Council to take enforcement action against problem vehicles

BRISTOL City Council is taking enforcement action to remove two caravans whose owners have been causing a nightmare for residents on a quiet street in Easton.
As reported at the start of March, one of the vehicles had been daubed with ‘666’ on its side, and people living nearby on Green Oak Crescent have reported strange banging noises and glowing lights coming from it at night.
Locals say they have seen evidence of drug-dealing from the vans and that human faeces has been left on the street where their children play. Many residents said they had reported the issues to the council months ago.
Now, the council has finally acted to remove the problem vehicles, but the process is likely to take several weeks.
“As a result of residents’ reports and our visits, we will commence enforcement action in the area for removal of the occupied vehicles 07/04/2026,’ a letter to residents from the council's neighbourhood enforcement team said.
