CATCH THE MOMENT WITH THIS DEVILISHLY HANDSOME CAMERA
I NOTICED the world's first-ever website created by Sir Tim Berners-Lee celebrated its 34th birthday last week.
It was a simple affair more or less just a text explanation of how to use the world wide web.
Things have changed since then, of course it's estimated there are close to two billion sites now, sites of ever-growing complexity, hungry for one thing and one thing only... your attention.
Yes, the digital world certainly takes up a lot of our time, and I can't help thinking a switch flicked 34 years ago that changed everything. Not all for the better.
Attention is a powerful currency, but it's ours if we want to keep it, or focus it somewhere other than the tiny screen on your smartphone.
In other words... there's a whole world out there outside the frame of our screens that is begging to be seen. And appreciated.
