Cinderella thief Burglar left shoe at scene of raid

Plant shop Sprouts of Bristol on Kingsdown Parade was targeted overnight while the owners were away on holiday in Sweden.

The intruder threw a brick through the glass front door to gain entry before fleeing with £60.

Co-owner Jessy Edgar said: “I got the phone call at around 3am no small business ever wants to receive, especially when on a well-deserved few days away.

“The thief smashed the large window in our front door with a brick, spreading shattered glass across the inside of the shop, covering plants and pots.”

She added the culprit quickly left the premises when the security alarm activated and lost their footwear in the rush to escape.

Jessy added: “In his hurry to leave the shop through the smashed door, our thieving Cinderella, as we have lovingly nicknamed them, left behind his shoe.
