Natalie Robinson hands over a cheque for the money she raised to the staff at the Basildon Breast Unit donation
Natalie Robinson, 37, from Wickford, set off in September on an 18-day journey to Nepal with her husband, James, to complete the challenge, raising £10,195, thanks to generous support from friends, family, and local fundraising events.
She discovered a small lump and saw her GP the next day. Natalie was referred to Basildon Hospital, where her diagnosis was confirmed in May 2023.
The next month she underwent a mastectomy, followed by 16 weeks of chemotherapy beginning that August.
