Ballroom glitz returns with big dance-off for air ambulance
Brentwood Gazette
|November 26, 2025
AN amateur dancer from Brentwood is among the contestants in next year’s Strictly Air Ambulance ballroom dancing event.
-
After raising an incredible £58,000 at last year’s glittering Strictly Air Ambulance event, lifesaving charity Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT), which has a base at North Weald, is bringing the dance extravaganza back and organisers promise it is set to be bigger, bolder and brighter than ever.
Strictly Air Ambulance 2026 will take centre stage at the Brentwood Centre on Saturday, March 14, promising a night packed with dazzling performances, celebrity guests, and heartfelt community spirit, all to help fund EHAAT’s lifesaving air ambulance missions across Essex, Hertfordshire, and the neighbouring regions.
The charity is seeking a headline sponsor, to join its VIP sponsor, Essex-based drink brand G&G Gallo.
Last year’s event was one of the highest grossing in the 13 years of the event's history.
This year, the charity is setting its sights even higher, with every ticket sold, sponsorship of the participants and donations made helping to keep the helicopters flying and critical care teams on the frontline when every second counts.
