Nomadic Panzo looks to find a home after deadline move

JONATHAN Panzo is eager to put down roots at Birmingham City after a career which has spanned 10 clubs by the age of 25.

The defender joined Blues from Portuguese side Rio Ave on transfer deadline day to provide cover in Chris Davies’ playoff chasing squad.
Panzo made his debut in Sunday’s FA Cup defeat to Leeds United on penalties and performed well next to Blues skipper Christoph Klarer.
After a positive first audition, Panzo, who signed a six-month contract until the end of the season, is hoping to impress enough to create a future at Blues.
“That's the plan,’ he said. “I always fight to the end, whether I’m here or not, so let's see what happens.
