MAGICAL MOMENTS FROM SABBATH'S STAR-STUDDED VILLA PARK GIG

HEAVY weights come to town

BLACK Sabbath’s Back To The Beginning will forever be remembered as one of the most legendary heavy metal shows in history. And it all happened right here in Birmingham.

The nine-hour spectacular brought together some of the biggest names from the genre at Villa Park, from Anthrax to Lamb of God and Metallica, and surprise guests from iconic bands such as Aerosmith and the Rolling Stones.

The event culminated in Birmingham’s Ozzy Osbourne, Bill Ward, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler's first stage reunion in 20 years, and their last one ever as own Ozzy bowed out of live performances for good.

It was a day the 40,000 fans in attendance will never forget. There were so many incredible moments, but here are our top five...

THE SURPRISE GUESTS

How many people can say they've seen Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and the Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood perform together live on the same stage? Only 40,000 people on the planet.
