BMW driver's blunder wrecked woman's life

COMPANY CEO MOWED DOWN THREE SHOPPERS IN CAR PARK HORROR
A DRIVER mowed down three women - causing one to lose her leg - after making a basic error in his new electric BMW.
Company CEO Gerard Farrelly, 67, caused a 'scene from a horror movie' after forgetting to put his car into 'park' and hit the accelerator at Mullberry Walk shopping centre in Mere Green, Sutton Coldfield on December 21, 2022.
It caused the iX xDrive50 M Sport car, which he had owned for just a few weeks, to lurch forward and plough into Moyra Thornton, who was on a pedestrian walkway in front him.
The BMW then hit mother-of-two Lucy Woodall, who was loading the boot of her Mercedes, pinning her leg between the two vehicles.
The third victim was Nidha Agrawal, also a mother-of-two and a GP, who was knocked over when Ms Woodall's Mercedes was forced forward.
