Sinners tops North America box office for second week

Ryan Coogler’s 1930s vampire thriller Sinners sunk its teeth into another huge weekend at the North American box office, taking in US$45 million (1.5 billion baht), industry estimates showed on Sunday.

Michael B. Jordan (Black Panther, Creed) stars as twins in Coogler’s supernatural horror flick set in Mississippi, which has a near-perfect 98% fresh rating on movie review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.
Hailee Steinfeld and Delroy Lindo also star in the music-driven Warner Bros film, which has a cumulative domestic take of $122.5 million.
