Frontier friction sparks House security talks

The House Committee on Foreign Affairs yesterday met national security agencies to discuss the border tensions with Cambodia.
The Defence Ministry, Foreign Affairs Ministry, and Office of the National Security Council were invited to meet the committee.
Committee chairwoman, Saratsanun Unnopporn, said the meeting focused on the Joint Boundary Commission's (JBC) progress in addressing the dispute.
Maj Gen Weerayut Raksilp, deputy chief of the Second Army Region, reported on the situation in the area.
