Chiang Mai sets fingernail dance record

Chiang Mai has set a new Guinness World Record for the largest traditional fon leb (fingernail dance) performance with 7,218 participants taking part to celebrate the city's 729th anniversary.
Minister of Culture, Sudawan Wangsuphakijkosol, presided over the event on Saturday. She also took part in the record-breaking dance, which was organised in cooperation with the Chiang Mai Women's Association and local organisations across the province.
