British actor Sam Claflin has spoken candidly about developing body dysmorphia, saying Hollywood's fixation on male physiques and repeated shirtless scenes left a lasting impact on his mental health.

Claflin, best known for playing Finnick Odair in The Hunger Games franchise, made the remarks on Fearne Cotton's Happy Place podcast. He said the "Hollywood assumption" that male leads must have sculpted bodies shaped his early experiences in the industry.
