In a horrific incident that has shocked the Hathijan area of Ahmedabad, a pet Rottweiler named Rocky savagely attacked and killed a four-month-old baby girl. The deadly assault took place on May 12 at Radhe Residency, a housing society on the city's outskirts.
Police reports indicate that the infant, Rushika, was in her mother's arms when the attack happened. The dog owner's daughter-in-law had brought the Rottweiler to the society premises. While chatting on her phone, the dog lunged forward, snatched the baby from her mother, and fatally mauled her. Neighbours rushed to help, but the baby's injuries were too severe. All attempts to save her life failed.
