JOHN Doolan’s preparations for the new League Two season have been boosted by the arrival of two promising talents from the non-league system - Isaac Sinclair and Freddie Sass.

Sinclair, pictured, whose performances in the middle of the park helped Curzon Ashton compete against much bigger clubs in the National League North last season, joined the club from on a two-year contract.

The son of former England international Trevor, Isaac rejoined The Nash in the summer of 2023, following a three-year spell at Bamber Bridge, and contributed to 16 goals upon returning to the Tameside Stadium.

The 23-year-old made 40 appearances in 2023/24 and found the back of the net on seven occasions, with a further nine goal contributions across 2024/25, as Craig Mahon's side finished seventh and eighth in the NLN respectively.
