Spring is here, and so is your voice. It's time to shed the old and speak boldly

Spring doesn't wait for the first of September to make itself known. It slowly creeps into our lives, like a low rumble of an approaching afternoon thunderstorm. We start noticing spring in weird and wonderful ways, like waking up to a sweeter-smelling day, or going to bed with the smell of rain falling somewhere far away. Gentle breezes bring us feelings of what is yet to come, blowing subliminal messages our way that urge us to let go of what no longer serves us and embrace the hope that comes with new beginnings.

The warm breeze, flourishing flowers and blazing sunshine are stark reminders of immediate change. No more frozen toes, icy winds or grey blankets of clouds hanging over our heads. South Africa's climate has a way of shaking you from hibernation, preparing your voice to rise with the singing cicadas in the midday heat.
