Comic Con Scotland (Aberdeen)

P&J Live, March 14-15

More than 10,000 fans make their way to this large-scale event celebrating all things pop culture, comics, fantasy, sci-fi, gaming, horror and cosplay every year. One big draw are the big names it brings to the Granite City. This year’s lineup includes actors from TV series Game Of Thrones, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Netflix’s Kobra Kai, and more. Aside from photo and autograph opportunities, there is usually a great selection of activities, including modern gaming areas and merchandise stalls. comicconscotlandnortheast.co.uk

The musician who gained fame as the frontman of hit band Talking Heads will be on tour in 2026 to promote his first new album since 2018, Who Is The Sky?, released last September and produced by Kid Harpoon, who has worked with the likes of Harry Styles and Miley Cyrus. After stops in London and Cardiff, David will be taking the stage in Glasgow for two nights on March 6 and 7. whoisthesky.davidbyrne.com

imageSix Nations

Edinburgh, February 5-March 14

One of the biggest events in the rugby calendar is returning. Two big home fixtures – against France and England – will take place at Murrayfield, which will see thousands of fans flocking to Edinburgh to enjoy the games and ambience. Last year, the Scottish team won two of their three home matches, including victories over Italy and Wales. Will Gregor Townsend and his men prevail, or perhaps, dare we say it, even hold the ultimate trophy? Time will tell!
