At the core of Rolls-Royce's approach to developing the Spectre lies an unprecedented method: Leveraging vast troves of anonymised driving data generously provided by existing Black Badge clientele. Engineers sifted through hundreds of thousands of miles of real-world driving behaviour, uncovering crucial insights about how these exclusive owners truly interact with their cars.

The data revealed a clear preference amongst drivers for short, explosive power pulses. This empirical evidence fundamentally shaped the Spectre, marking a definitive shift towards raw performance whilst upholding the brand's signature refinement.

With the Black Badge Spectre, Rolls-Royce has set a formidable benchmark: It is officially the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever created, capable of delivering an extraordinary 485kw (659hp). Yet, power alone does not entirely encapsulate its essence. In a nod to its aviation heritage — specifically, the legendary Rolls-Royce Merlin engines that powered wartime Spitfires — engineers incorporated innovative functions such as Infinity Mode and Spirited Mode.

Infinity Mode, activated by an infinity symbol on the steering wheel, fully unleashes the Spectre's power, subtly altering the vehicle's throttle responsiveness and dials to visually mirror the vehicle's increased dynamism.
