For actor-activist and sustainability champion Dia Mirza, clothes are more than just about who you are—they are about what you stand for.
We've been following Dia Mirza's journey since she won the Miss Asia Pacific International title in 2000. She would make her Bollywood film debut the following year, starring alongside R. Madhavan and Saif Ali Khan in Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein. While the film wasn't well received at the time, Mirza stayed on course and went on to have her fair share of hits and misses.
In 2018, her resilience paid off in a big way with the hit Sanju, inspired by actor Sanjay Dutt's life story. Films, though, were never Mirza's only world. Advocacy, including community service, wildlife welfare, environmental activism, and girls' and women's rights, has also been a big part of her life.
