Cher mourns mum - I'VE LOST MY BEST FRIEND'

Cher and her mum Georgia were always incredibly close.

Cher was plunged into mourning recently when her beloved mother, Georgia Holt, died on December 10 at the age of 96. 

In announcing her passing, the singer, 76, simply tweeted: “Mom is gone”.
