When I asked Mr. Kenkre about his early years and the challenges he faced, he reflected on his roots with a deep sense of pride. Though his Karma Bhumi today is the bustling capital city of Goa, Panaji, his origins trace back to the serene village of Cuncolim in South Goa. "Although I was born in Panaji, my roots belong to Cuncolim. Out of my 64 years, I have only spent eight in Cuncolim and the rest in Panaji, which is why I consider myself a true Panajikar," he shared with pride. He gives a lot of credit to his wife Mrs Shweta for whatever success he has achieved. "She took VRS & gave up her banking career 23 years before regular retirement, to support him and they take care of young children."
