25 Rules to Acing Your Office Style
GQ India
|April - May 2026
Drawing on years of geeking out on menswear classics, actor Imran Khan steps into the corporate arena to show you how to dress for the job.
Play It Smart:
1 Refine the double-breasted suit by choosing a sculpted cut with a shorter length; avoid padded shoulders and fasten every button, including the inner, for a clean drape.
2 The lapel sets the tone: keep the width around two inches and opt for a sharp notch that feels current.3 Choose two buttons, because they are A, dependable and B, flattering. A lower stance lengthens the torso and sharpens the line.
4 Return to classic flap pockets; they add structure and polish, outclassing pared-back slit styles.
5 Go easy on dry cleaning as it's harsh on fabric. Treat your suit like an investment and clean sparingly; when it creases, go for a steam press.6 Shirt sleeves should fit neatly, with cuffs hitting the wrist and extending about half an inch beyond the jacket. Any longer and the effect slips from intentional to ill-fitted.

It’s here: artificial intelligence that’s good enough to do...something. Real humans tell GQ how they're quietly using AI to launch get-rich-quick schemes, build virtual secretaries, cheat at their jobs (to make time for their art), cheat at their art (to make more money), and soothe the anxiety caused by AI itself.
