1. SELECT A SINK

Having running water so you can rinse fruit and veg or wash your hands means you won't have to keep going back and forth inside. When it comes to the sink, choose a durable option, such as stainless steel, which can withstand all weathers and, if possible, locate it on an outside wall so plumbing can be routed to it. The shelves shown here come without a sink, but are ready to simply be fitted to a tap for outdoor use.
