Our love affair with colour seems to be showing no sign of ending - in fact, it's getting stronger as we find ourselves ditching cool greys for warmer tones, drenching our rooms in colour from top to bottom, and adding flashes of 'accent' shades. But what if your colour confidence hasn't quite caught up with this? We asked an interior designer, a colour psychologist and a product designer to share their colour confidence secrets.

A BRAVE NEW WORLD OF COLOUR

'We have so much colour at our fingertips today,' says Tash. 'Social media has made interior design inspiration so accessible. This has empowered homeowners to experiment and make more personal, bold choices in their spaces.'

'As children, we are very engaged with colour - we have a favourite colour - but gradually this gets chipped away and we develop preconceived ideas and myths around it,' says Sophie. 'Lots of my work is getting people reconnected with colour - it can make you feel alive! I'm not prescriptive on what colours you should use, rather about having an opinion on those you love and those you hate.'
