Two art galleries within the building, and a neighbourhood that's steeped in nostalgia of old Bombay, which is also home to a volley of avant garde spaces and cafes – indeed there's lots to love about this labour of love. “The essence of our studio space remains rooted in nurturing collaboration,” begins Roshni Kshirsagar, one of the partners at SJK Architects, besides Vaishali Mangalvedhekar and Sarika Shetty, as she takes us through the resuscitated office in Mumbai that’s a delightful blend of wood, warmth and scenic vistas, nestled within a colonial-era building in Colaba.
