Historic Farmhouse with a Modern Twist

A 110-year-old farmhouse gets a modern makeover.

Located in historic Washington Crossing, PA, just down the street from where George Washington crossed the Delaware River on the frigid night of December 25-26, 1776, this renovated farmhouse is a sheer delight! Originally built in 1914, the farmhouse had deteriorated over time and required serious love and attention. So, the homeowners decided to have Kevin Kaminski and Alexis Pew, founders of Kaminski + Pew, a Philadelphia based architectural and interior design firm, take on the project.

"The existing home had great bones and a great piece of land, but it was on the small side," Kevin and Alexis say.
